Seder Presentation
FRIDAY
MARCH 26
7:00 PM
What is Passover? The Passover celebrates God’s actions in Egypt and points to later demonstrations of God’s saving power in the land of Israel and the development of Jewish and Christian traditions that teach these truths throughout history. The marvelous thing about Passover is that it not only commemorates a milestone of the past, but connects us to a glorious future. Believers will be affirmed knowing they worship a God who keeps His promises an remains every faithful. The Passover is a picture of God’s love and salvation. It is a story of forgiveness, deliverance, hope, and reconciliation. The redemption of Israel from Egyptian slavery points us towards an every greater story of deliverance through the promised Messiah of Israel.
We are excited to bring this presentation to Hope Fellowship and look forward to the joy of discovery as we learn together about the connections between Old Testament ideas and their New Testament fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
We invite you to learn with us as we gain greater insight to what Jesus did in the Upper Room. Mitch Forman of Chosen People Ministries will walk you through the Passover Seder elements and explain the significance of each part in light of Jesus as Messiah. Participants will be able to experience and taste the elements.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about Chosen People Ministry and their call to evangelize Jews in the United States and throughout the world.
